Depart Arusha after breakfast and travel to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its vast elephant populations, ancient baobab trees, and seasonal river that attracts abundant wildlife.

Enjoy an extensive game drive through open savannas and riverine habitats, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of birdlife. A picnic lunch is served inside the park, followed by further game viewing in the afternoon.

Later, drive toward Karatu, passing rolling hills and farmland.

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most concentrated wildlife areas. The crater floor offers excellent chances to spot the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffalo, and the rare black rhino, alongside flamingos, hippos, and plains game.

After the game drive and picnic lunch, ascend the crater and continue toward Lake Eyasi, traveling through remote landscapes and traditional villages.

Arrive at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge in the late afternoon, overlooking the lake and surrounding escarpments.

Begin the day with a guided cultural excursion to meet the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer communities in East Africa. Learn about their traditional hunting techniques, survival skills, and way of life.

Continue to visit the Datoga tribe, known for their metalworking skills and pastoral lifestyle. This authentic cultural experience offers deep insight into Tanzania’s human heritage.

After the visit, begin the drive back to Arusha or transfer directly to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey.
