Depart Arusha in the morning and drive toward Lake Manyara National Park, nestled beneath the dramatic walls of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through the park’s diverse ecosystems, ranging from lush groundwater forests to open savannahs and the alkaline lakeshore.

Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large baboon troops, elephants, hippos, giraffes, and exceptional birdlife, including flamingos and pelicans. The constantly changing scenery provides outstanding photographic opportunities.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon exploration. In the late afternoon, exit the park and drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most wildlife-rich destinations. The Tarangire River serves as a year-round water source, attracting large concentrations of animals, especially during the dry season.

Enjoy a full-day game drive through riverine habitats and open plains, where you may encounter elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and an impressive variety of bird species.

Where park regulations permit, take part in a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger. This immersive experience allows you to explore the bush on foot, learning about animal tracks, native plants, and the ecosystem from a ground-level perspective.

Lunch will be served picnic-style inside the park. Later in the afternoon, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, ascending through scenic highlands dotted with Maasai villages. Upon arrival, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The crater floor supports an extraordinary density of wildlife, offering excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and the endangered black rhino, alongside hippos, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and rich birdlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater while surrounded by breathtaking scenery. In the late afternoon, ascend from the crater and return to Furaha Luxury Lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart for Mto wa Mbu, a vibrant village celebrated for its cultural diversity and fertile agricultural lands. Enjoy a guided cultural and cycling tour through banana plantations, rice fields, and village neighborhoods.

The experience may include visits to local homes, artisan workshops, traditional food tasting, and interactions with community members, offering a genuine insight into daily village life. Optional Maasai cultural encounters can be arranged upon request.

After lunch at a local restaurant, drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon where your safari concludes.
