Depart Arusha early in the morning and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing scenic highlands, coffee plantations, and traditional Maasai settlements. Upon arrival, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife sanctuaries.

The crater floor hosts an exceptional concentration of wildlife, offering excellent chances to encounter the Big Five alongside hippos, flamingos, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and diverse birdlife. The dramatic volcanic landscape enhances both wildlife viewing and photography.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and active wildlife.

In the late afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive to Furaha Luxury Lodge. Unwind in the peaceful surroundings before enjoying dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and year-round wildlife activity along the Tarangire River. This park offers a classic African safari atmosphere with wide open landscapes and rich biodiversity.

Spend the day on an extensive game drive exploring riverbanks, wetlands, and open plains. Sightings may include elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, and a wide variety of bird species.
Where park regulations permit, enjoy a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger. This experience allows you to explore the bush on foot, learning about animal tracks, native plants, and the delicate balance of the ecosystem.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon exploration. Later, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

After breakfast, depart for Mto wa Mbu, a lively village known for its cultural diversity and fertile farmlands. Enjoy a guided cultural and cycling tour through banana plantations, rice fields, and village neighborhoods, offering insight into daily life and traditional practices.

The experience may include visits to local homes, artisan workshops, traditional food preparation, and interaction with community members from different ethnic backgrounds. Optional Maasai cultural encounters can be arranged upon request.

After lunch at a local restaurant, drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon where your safari concludes.
