Driving Time: Approx. 2.5–3 hours
After an early breakfast, depart Arusha with your professional safari guide and drive toward Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife year-round.

Upon arrival, begin a game drive through vast savannahs, seasonal swamps, and riverine habitats. Expect to see large elephant herds, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, impalas, and over 500 bird species.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park at a designated site, followed by continued wildlife viewing in the afternoon.

In the late afternoon, exit the park and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a thrilling half-day game drive.

This natural wildlife sanctuary is home to over 25,000 animals, including the black rhino, lions, elephants, hippos, hyenas, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Flamingos often gather along the crater’s soda lake, adding color to the dramatic scenery.

Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending the crater and beginning your return drive to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon.
