BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
All trips operated by JustGo Safaris are subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By confirming a booking and/or making a payment, the client acknowledges and accepts these Terms and Conditions in full.
1. GENERAL CONDITIONS
JustGo Safaris provides tailor-made safari experiences in Tanzania. Clients will receive a detailed itinerary outlining destinations, activities, and inclusions so they clearly understand what to expect.
While we strive to operate safaris exactly as planned, itineraries may be altered due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Road conditions or closures
Weather conditions
Security considerations
Government regulations
In such cases, clients will be informed promptly and suitable alternative arrangements will be made where possible. JustGo Safaris will always make reasonable efforts to maintain the original quality and character of the itinerary.
Clients acknowledge that travel conditions in Tanzania may differ from those in developed countries and accept the realities of local infrastructure and regulations.
2. GOVERNMENT FEES & TAXES
Tanzania is subject to sudden and unannounced changes in government-regulated fees and taxes, including national park fees, conservation fees, and other statutory charges.
JustGo Safaris reserves the right to pass on any such increases to clients.
3. PAYMENT TERMS
Upon confirmation of a booking, clients will receive a detailed invoice.
A 40% deposit of the total itinerary cost is required to confirm all ground services.
100% payment is required upfront for all airline tickets.
The remaining balance must be paid 45 days prior to the commencement of the itinerary.
Bookings made within 45 days of departure require full payment at the time of confirmation.
Failure to make payments on time may result in cancellation of the booking.
4. METHODS OF PAYMENT
Payments are accepted via bank wire / bank transfer only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. CANCELLATION POLICY (BY CLIENT)
All cancellations must be made in writing and will be effective from the date received by JustGo Safaris.
The following cancellation charges apply:
90+ days before departure:
Full refund of all payments made (excluding non-refundable airline tickets, bank charges, and third-party costs already incurred).
60–89 days before departure:
50% of the total amount paid will be refunded.
30–45 days before departure:
25% refund of the total amount paid (75% will be retained as cancellation charges).
0–29 days before departure:
No refund will be made.
Please note:
International and domestic airline tickets are 100% non-refundable once issued.
Any non-recoverable payments made to third-party suppliers (lodges, camps, park fees) will be deducted from refunds where applicable.
6. ITINERARY CHANGES BY CLIENT
After confirmation, any request to change an itinerary or departure date will be accommodated where possible, subject to availability. Additional costs may apply.
Amendment fee: USD 75 per person (USD 100 per person for US citizens)
Changes are not permitted within 12 weeks of departure; such requests will be treated as cancellations.
7. WEBSITE PRICING
All prices published on justgosafaris.com are per person, based on two people sharing, unless otherwise stated.
Prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD).
Prices exclude:
o International flights
o Passports and visas
o Travel insurance
o Tips and gratuities
o Personal expenses
o Optional activities not specified
Website prices are indicative only. Final pricing will be confirmed in the official invoice.
Quotations are valid for 14 days.
8. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
All travel documents (vouchers, tickets, luggage tags, and relevant information) will be provided approximately two weeks prior to departure.
9. INSURANCE
Comprehensive travel and medical insurance is mandatory for all clients. Insurance must cover:
Medical treatment
Emergency evacuation and repatriation
Optional coverage should include:
Trip cancellation or curtailment
Loss or theft of baggage and personal items
JustGo Safaris reserves the right to cancel bookings where adequate insurance has not been obtained
10. PASSPORTS & VISAS
Clients are responsible for ensuring that:
Passports are valid for at least six months beyond the final travel date
Required visas are obtained
Most nationalities may obtain a Tanzanian tourist visa on arrival:
USD 50 per person
USD 100 per person for US citizens
JustGo Safaris accepts no liability for visa issues or associated costs.
11. NAME VERIFICATION
Clients must carefully verify all names on invoices and travel documents.
Name changes requested more than 3 days after invoice issuance will incur a fee of EUR 125 per change.
12. CONTRACT & BOOKING CONDITIONS
The contract is between the client and JustGo Safaris.
A binding contract exists once:
A 40% deposit is received, or
Full payment is received for bookings within 6 weeks of departure
The lead passenger is responsible for payment and acceptance of these Terms on behalf of all travelers in the booking.
13. MEDICAL CONDITIONS & DISABILITIES
Clients must disclose all relevant medical conditions or disabilities at the time of booking.
JustGo Safaris reserves the right to decline or cancel bookings where specific needs cannot reasonably be accommodated.
14. FORCE MAJEURE
JustGo Safaris shall not be liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters
Epidemics or pandemics
Political unrest
Acts of terrorism
Weather conditions
Transport disruptions
In such cases, refunds are subject to recoverable amounts from suppliers.
15. CANCELLATION OR AMENDMENTS BY JUSTGO SAFARIS
JustGo Safaris reserves the right to cancel or amend itineraries prior to full payment.
If a major change occurs, clients may:
Accept the revised itinerary
Choose an alternative safari
Receive a full refund of payments made
Compensation, where applicable, is limited to USD 75 per person.
16. LIABILITY & RESPONSIBILITY
JustGo Safaris accepts responsibility for services arranged directly by us and provided to a reasonable local standard. We are not liable for:
Optional excursions booked independently
Acts or omissions of third-party suppliers not under our direct control
Infrastructure limitations common in developing regions
Liability for any claim (excluding death or personal injury due to negligence) is limited to 200% of the total holiday cost.
17. CARRIERS
Air and sea travel is subject to the conditions of the relevant carrier and international conventions. JustGo Safaris accepts no liability for carrier-related delays, cancellations, or lost baggage.
18. COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
Any issues during the safari must be reported immediately to the lodge manager, camp manager, or safari guide.
If unresolved, complaints must be submitted in writing within 28 days of return.
Failure to follow this procedure may invalidate any claim.
19. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Payment of a deposit or balance constitutes full acceptance of these Booking Terms & Conditions.
